Aug 8 (9:58am)

Yesterday was a shopping day for Real World PDX.  If the guy's bag is to be believed, "Happiness is a new pair of shoes."  How true.  Who says this generation is shallow?  They apparently went to a store called "Johnny Sole."  Here is a picture of their triumphant return home:

It must have been difficult being away from the cameras for so long.  You probably get used to the theatrics that go along with being filmed for most of your waking hours.  When the group returned they were only too happy to greet their friends:

At the door somebody either forgot the keys or they had to wait for the cameras to set up. Thankfully my sister happened to be here to get these shots.  Maybe TMZ is hiring.  She's got a knack for these things.  Here is a little better close-up of some of the cast members:

As for last night, there wasn't a whole lot of movement, although Reggie Aqui of KGW told me via Twitter that they were at the Pearl Safeway.  It seems like the group pretty much stayed in last night as evidenced by what they left behind:

You know, a lot of people like to characterize Real World cast members in general as irresponsible, perhaps a little immature, and even a bit douchy.  But two alarm clocks?  This has to be a group of go-getters.  Very responsible.

I heard a rumor that the cast might be working at Pizza Schmizza, conflicting with my earlier report of Voodoo Donuts and Powells.  I hope this is true.  We can't have the cast screwing up our Portland institutions.  Schmizza has decent food, but it is not a sacred Portland landmark.

Again, remember to follow me on Twitter @RealWorldPDXspy.  I've been enjoying this so far!
